I would walk to work every day if I did not have to dress up for my job. I look like a wet noodle by the time I get to Allen Hall. I don't have a Sanderson membership, so taking a shower there and then riding the bus to work is not feasable for me right now. But...I will walk whenever I can!

So true!

If I need a few groceries, I can bike to Piggly Wiggly from my house, it's only a few blocks. You do NOT have to go on Hwy 12, just take the residential roads and turn onto the street behind Piggly Wiggly. I've even walked there on occasion, though I don't recommend that if you're going to get heavy stuff, use a bike with baskets instead.
